learning process be it design study or any
other field,well updated libraries are
a must to raise the standard of education
and research. To remain aware of the
significant happenings and finding libraries
are the most essential medium. A well
stocked library at SSID housing numerous
books, periodicals covering every aspect
of International Art Design, Decorative
Arts, Architecture and also material
collection of current trade catalogs
and manufacturer's samples, provides sufficient
facilities for the staff and students. The
stock of the library is always updated
according to the changing times. Besides,
students are permitted to suggest books,
periodicals and also buy important and scarce
titles on behalf of the library with
permission of the Center Head.

To meet the ever increasing demand for Computer-aided
Designing (CAD), Computer Lab at ssm complements
the classroom learning. Students are able
to actually give shape to their creative ideas
and put into practice whatever they learn
in their Studios.
